Question

How can I design a quiz score share card without exposing private answers?

I’m preparing a reusable share graphic for a privacy-first browser quiz. The app calculates one score locally and never sends individual answers to a server. In Adobe Express, I want the card to show only the score range, a short privacy note, and an 18+ label, without implying that the answers themselves are embedded in the image.

Would you recommend a single 1200×630 layout with a compact privacy badge, or a two-slide carousel that separates the score from the privacy explanation? I also want it to stay legible when platforms crop the preview on mobile.

I’d love to hear your final decision and if this was helpful. Here are my thoughts.

Lead toward the single share card if the primary purpose is communication the score. Make the privacy message part of the single card instead of requiring someone to swipe to a second card to understand what is being shared.

Your decision to share only the score/range instead of the individual responses aligns with the principle of data minimization of only using the information necessary for the intended purpose, showing your strong support for privacy.

In Express, I’d use the Social Safe Zones rather than just relying only on margins. Adobe designed the Safe Zones to help keep important text and graphics visible when social platforms introduce cropping, overlays, or other display (screen) limits.

    Consider the following hierarchy:

    • Score/range as the dominant element (Header 1)
    • As short statement about only the scored being shared not individual answers (Body text)
    • 18+ label as secondary info (Header 2 or Body)

For accessibility be sure to check the text/background contrast and text size align with WCAG standards. There are Add-ons in Express that allow you to do some of this quickly. If you going to use the Express Content Schedule create and add alt text.

Only use the second card carousel slide if the privacy information needs more explanation. The one card solution makes it clear that the image contains the score/range and not the person’s individual quiz answers.

Here are sources I use when dealing with issues like this

    • Adobe Express Help - Social Media Safe Zones
    • Adobe Express Schedule info (add alt text is a button)
    • W3C and WCAG for contrast recommendations
    • CPRA/GSPR/ICO

Share your final decision and outcomes.
