How does this teach students Adobe???

I have a degree in graphic design and spent ten years doing that.  I'm now an educator, and was looking into adobe express for the classroom. However, I dont see any useful stuff for them. They know how to look up images online, how to use AI to generate images.  We really just neeed simple, basic tools for adobe. 

I can't open a page and add a line.? why? anyhoo pretty disapointed, and will not be recommending this product.
