Every time I try to open the different templates I downloaded from Adobe Stock, I get an error message saying "it is not a supported filetype".

Super frustrating! But .indt files are template files for InDesign. Try saving either as .indd or .pdf, then open in Express.

Hi @ed_8645,

Thank you for your question!

.indt files are InDesign template files, and currently not supported directly in Adobe Express. But no worries — here’s how you can still use them:

  1. Open the .indt file in Adobe InDesign (desktop version).

  2. Save it as an .indd or export it as a PDF, JPG, or PNG.

  3. Then simply upload the exported file into Adobe Express to continue designing.

We understand it can be a bit of extra work, but this ensures you get the best results with your templates. If you need help with the export process, we’re happy to assist!
