How to show layer (i.e. company logo) permanently over clips

Hello community,

 

I’ve been through many threads and searched YouTube etc. – couldn’t resolve my issue:

 

I am creating a video (Insta Reel), containing a number of clips in sequence. All clips are connected with transitions.

So far so good: I would now like to add a company logo in the top left/right corner to be displayed PERMANENTLY over the entire video, in the exact same way as a background music would continue running – WITHOUT the transitions affecting this. Meaning, the logo would always be shown in the same place while the clips would change normally underneath is. Is there a way to do this?

Hi @Alexander Moore, Welcome to our Adobe Express community! Thanks for posting here! 

I suggest creating a brand in Adobe Express, uploading your company logo and any required company colors and fonts, and then applying the brand to the project. You can then place the logo as per your requirements. 

The other approach is to import the logo into a new layer and position that layer on top of all the different layers for each frame.

Hi Amitej,

Thank you for your reply. Creating the brand is not my main concern. Displaying the logo PERMANENTLY over the entire video NOT being affected by transitions – that would be my question. Any thoughts on that?

Hi @Alexander Moore, thanks for responding! 

Currently, if your logo is the topmost layer on each scene and has the same layer timing as the scene, it should appear permanently on the video. However, transitions would affect the movement of the scene, and since the logo layer is part of the scene, it would have the same experience as other layers in the scene.
