how to stretch an image in adobe express?

hello, is there no way to stretch an image in adobe express? i've looked everywhere and can't find a way to do it. canva can do it, google slides can do it, is there really no way to do it in adobe express?? please help i am very confused 😞

Can you please specify or share an example of what results you are looking for when stretching any image in Adobe Express? Ideally, to stretch any image on the Adobe Express editor window, you may need to drag the markers on the edge of the asset to stretch them. Select the edge you'd want to stretch to.

This 100% does not work. Sure you can "stretch" the image but it's not a true stretch, it's an expand. It grows in width AND height. "No it doesn't, it only grows in the direction you pull the slider."

Wrong. The canvas height stays the same but the image grows in a locked aspect ratio resulting in a cropped image. The whole purpose of stretch is to alter the aspect ratio of the image without cropping. Sooo, same question as above, is there a stretch??
