I dowloaded my video, but the background music is too loud. How can I lower the volume?

I dowloaded my video, but the background music is too loud. When I went back and tried to edit it, the sound layers don't even show up in the layer section.  Any advice. I'm stuck!

Would you be able to share a screen recording of the workflow you're following for the video project sound editing? Does this happen with other video projects as well? Was the audio an Adobe asset, or did you upload it from your device?
