I downloaded the Adobe Express Photos app with Acrobat. It worked for 3 or 4 days. Now I can't get it to open. I've tried repairing it, resetting it, and uninstall and reinstall. It still doesn't do anything.

I click on an image to open it, a white box with “Adobe Express” in the top left corner opens, and that’s it. It never shows the image or any other kind of anything. Just a white box. And now the icon has disappeared.

What i get when i try to open a photo.
Suddenly the icon is not appearing.

    After i left my reply, I noticed the computer needed a restart to update. Now it has OS build 26300.9711. I tried opening Express Photos and it popped right open. The icon is back, too.

    Hi ​@Tony23646537esah,

    Thanks for the screenshot! That white box with just the Sign In button is a known display issue on Windows overall, not specific to Express Photos. A few things to try:

    First, check your Windows storage settings: Go to Settings → System → Storage → Advanced storage settings → Where new content is saved and make sure “New apps will save to” is set to your C: drive. If it’s pointing to a different drive, that can prevent the app from loading correctly even after reinstalling.

    If that’s already set to C:, could you also let me know:

    • Your Windows version (Settings → System → About)

    • Whether you see the Sign In button when the white box opens, and if clicking it does anything

    The disappeared icon is a separate symptom that sometimes happens when the app installs to an unexpected path... I am hoping that fixing the storage setting will resolve both.

    Everything in the Advance storage settings is set to C:drive.

    Windows 11 Pro version 26H2, OS build 26300.9550, Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.372.0

    I was getting the Sign In button when the white box opened, but the whole thing was like a static image, with nothing to click on. Today I tried it again, this time I get a gray bar across the top with “Adobe Express Photos (Not Responding)”. Before (from the image) it was just a white box with “Adobe Express Photos”.

    Not sure why I’m that stressed over it. I’d never even heard of Express Photos until a couple weeks ago. It’s a new computer and i was downloading Acrobat. Can’t remember if Acrobat suggested Express or they were bundled, but i decided to give it a try. It was fun for the few days it worked. I suppose i won’t miss it if I just give up. 😆

    Not having issues with any other apps or programs. 🙅
