Importing pdf to Adobe Express reduces pixel quality

Question

I import my CV and scanned reference letter to Adobe Express and the pixel count reduces significantly from 2550x3300 in the original document to a pixel ratio in the low hundreds.

While my CV document looks alright, the scanned reference letter now becomes noticeably blurry.

Is there any way to resolve this? Or circumvent the problem?

Will all pdf files uploaded to Express diminish in quality?

Did you use the app or web to upload your file?Does this happen to every file you upload?
