Insert simple shape?

Trying to insert a simple shape that isn't an icon. Such as a square or rectangle that I can manipulate its size and outline entirely. When I insert a rectangle outline currently, if I stretch it further than the original size it doesn't maintain the same thickness around the perimeter of the outline. This has to be simple? But somehow I'm not seeing it. Thank you!

However, it'll be fine if you complete the same thing through the design asset. Please try this again with the design asset and let us know if you find any issues. We will be happy to assist.
