K-12 Teacher, Unable to Verify for Free Adobe Express Premium (India)

Hello Adobe Community,

I am a K-12 teacher in India and I'm trying to sign up for the free Adobe Express Premium for K-12 educators. Adobe's website clearly states this is available for individual teachers.

I attempted to sign up using my official school email address. However, during the process, I was never prompted to upload any verification documents (like a school ID or salary slip) to confirm my K-12 teacher status.

I then contacted Adobe Customer Support chat twice . Both agents were from the "enterprise team" and kept trying to direct me to fill out a "consultation form" for institutional contracts or suggested contacting a team for paid individual Creative Cloud licenses. This was frustrating as it did not address my query for individual teacher verification for the free Adobe Express Premium.

For comparison, platforms like Canva for Education and GitHub Education provide clear, direct individual teacher verification processes, often involving document uploads if the email isn't sufficient. I was expecting a similar straightforward process from Adobe for this specific free educator benefit.

Could anyone in the community or an Adobe staff member please clarify:

  1. What is the correct, direct process for an individual K-12 teacher in India to verify their eligibility for free Adobe Express Premium?

  2. Should I expect a prompt to upload documents at a later stage, or is my school email supposed to be sufficient for verification (even if it's not a common edu domain)?

  3. Is there a specific support channel (phone, email, or chat) that directly handles these individual K-12 educator verifications for Adobe Express, and is familiar with the process for free individual accounts?

I just want to ensure I'm properly verified to use the free premium features for my teaching.

I am also a K-12 teacher in India and was experiencing the exact same issue with signing up for the free Adobe Express Premium.
It's indeed frustrating when the individual educator verification process isn't clear, especially when other platforms like Canva and GitHub manage this seamlessly. I've also found it difficult to get clear answers from general support.
Adobe Official Staff: This seems to be a widespread problem affecting K-12 educators trying to access a benefit specifically advertised. Could you please provide a clear, direct pathway for individual teacher verification for Adobe Express Premium in India?
Your prompt clarification would be greatly appreciated by many of us in the education community.

Hi @fantastic_thinking4556,

Thank you for the great feedback! We truly appreciate you sharing your experience. We're actively exploring additional mechanisms to enable individual educators to access and use Adobe Express more easily.

At this time, institution-based access remains the only supported option for educators in India.

Regards,

Tarun
