Line spacing being reduced when importing a PSD into Adobe Express on mobile

Hi all, 

I've only began having this problem in the last 2 weeks or so and I’ve just set up this quick example below to demonstrate.

When I set the two text boxes up, they are both set to auto leading as I had found a couple of years ago that increasing or decreasing the leading was a waste of time. It always ended up as auto when the PSD file was imported into Express. The font used below is Figtree which is supported in Express.

The image on the right is what’s happening now every time I import the PSD and I have no idea why. Been doing this for 2 years flawlessly and I’ve changed absolutely nothing about the file or its setup.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    • How are you importing the PSD file into Express?
    • After importing, which option are you selecting?
    • Is this happening with all PSD files or just this specific file?
    • Could you also share your device make/model and OS version?

    Hi ​@Tarun Saini, how’s it going?

     

    I’m downloading the PSD to my phone > Opening Express > Hit the + Symbol > Upload Media > Select the PSD

     

    Then it converts in Adobe Express as it has always done. When that finished, I’m seeing what’s in the example I posted above yesterday. I’ve tried uploading the same PSD to Express in Chrome and the same thing is happening.

     

    It's happened across multiple versions of the same file for me and for 2 other people also who are on different mobile devices. (one of whom brought it to my attention a few weeks ago).

     

    I’m using a Samsung S25 Ultra on Android version 16 and One UI version 8.5.
