link to websites and articles not working in social media creation

When creating social media posts And stories the embedded link does not work once it's posted. it's working from the creation on Adobe Express but once posted it's not working.

    Thank you for reaching out. We understand how important clickable links are in social media posts. 

    Currently, links embedded in Adobe Express designs do not remain clickable once exported and posted on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or LinkedIn due to platform limitations.

    Recommended workflow:

    • Add links in the post caption, description, or bio.

    • For Instagram Stories, use the Link sticker.

    I guess I’m going to ask the obvious question here.  What is the purpose of the feature within Adobe Express for inserting clickable links into content, when the links do not work after exporting.  THIS is what I would love to know.

    Hi Kari!

    I am hoping to add some context - the links you put into Express will work for webpages/PDF export formats, which is why it's an option included within Express.

    JPG/PNG are flat image formats, and when these are posted to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or LinkedIn, those platforms treat a posted image as just pixels, so there's no way for a link baked into it to be tappable - nothing on Express's end would change that; it's how the social platforms handle images.

    So the feature's useful in the places that actually support links (PDFs, web pages). The "flat image on social" route is the one spot it can't survive, which I know is annoying since that's probably exactly where you're trying to use it.

    For social, the move is to put the link where the platform makes it clickable - in your caption or bio, or the link sticker for Instagram Stories!

      i got the same issue.
      tried FB, Insta, Tiktok & Linkedin - none work.

      i embeded the links on text included via the link option when doing a right click.. but it does not work.

      would appreicate a solution or video guide on the matter. thanks.

        2. What type of link are you embedding — is it a hyperlink on text, a link behind an image, or something else?
        3. Are you posting directly from Adobe Express using the Content Scheduler?
        4. Could you share a screenshot/screen recording or example of how the link was added and how it appears after posting?

        3. Are you posting directly from Adobe Express using the Content Scheduler? Yes

        Did you try using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome) or incognito mode to see if it makes a difference?
