I'm having difficulty rendering my videos from Adobe express to my social media. It already has embedded codes to do this but it still doesn't convert well.

I had the same problem. I found my files. They were downloaded in two ways in two different places. The acceptable MP4 was here: edge://downloads/

Hi @martin_2823,

Thanks for sharing this! We know how important smooth video sharing is, especially for social media.

To help improve your export and upload experience from Adobe Express to Instagram, try these steps:

  1. Download Before Uploading – Instead of posting directly from Express, download the video in MP4 format first and then upload it manually via the Instagram app. This often helps preserve quality and avoid conversion issues.

  2. Check Video Specs – Instagram works best with:

    • MP4 format

    • H.264 codec

    • Up to 60 seconds (for feed), or longer for Reels

    • Max resolution: 1080x1920 (for vertical)

  3. Keep File Size Reasonable – Very large files may compress poorly or fail to upload. Try to keep videos under 100MB when possible.

If you’d like, we’re happy to take a closer look at a specific file or guide you through optimizing it—just let us know!

I have the same issue. When downloading a reel, it doesn't download in an acceptable format. It is MP4 but different. I used the automatic sharing for Facebook, but my Insta account isn't connected to a FB account, so the AE app doesn't let you share that way and doesn't download in an Insta-acceptable format. Even in this reply, I can't attach the downloaded file. "The file type (.crdownload) is not supported."
