Making a template from an uploaded indd file

Someone at Adobe needs to make this an easy process. I cannot figure out this workaround. I need to make a bunch of templates and this is very tedious. Indesign is an Adobe product, why is it not an easy "make a template" button?

Hi @Tara34886129i54v,

Welcome to the community! Are you unable to make an InDesign file as a template in Adobe Express? Can you let us know what steps are you trying to do this, or you are looking for a short steps?

Tarun

thank you.

Previously i was able to upload an indd file, tinker with it a bit in express (locking layers and whatnot) and then using the "Share" button, was able to make a template from it. Now when I am doing it, there is nothing that shows up under "share" or anywhere that i am seeing that says "make a template" or whatever the language was. In fact, just testing it, I couldn't even just make a new document in express and make a template. I'm attaching a screenshot (taking out the file name and my name). I am part of an enterprise licensed business. I am creating the document in indd and then selecting "export to adobe express" in indd.example.jpg

Thanks for your response @Tara34886129i54v,

When I click on the share button, I am able to see the 'convert to template' option. Please make sure you're using the correct profile when loggin in. For more information, check this article- https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/manage-adobe-profiles.html

Let us know if that helps.
