We're sorry to hear about this. Please let us know if this is happening with one video or all. After splitting the video, does the audio disappear from both videos? What is the format of the video you're working on? Did you try signing out and signing in and try to check if that helps?
Also, Have you tried using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome) to see if it makes a difference? Try clearing the browser's cache and cookies and let us know how it goes.
