Opacity adjusters are absent

Please help, the opacity adjusters haven't worked for a few weeks on my Samsung Galaxy A12.  The sliders do work on the older version which is on my Galaxy A11 but the newer files aren't supported there so I'm stuck with having no opacity adjusters.  Only the word "text" is showing.

      Hi there, thank you for writing us. We are aware of the issue. The team in charge has worked on it and found a fix. It will be resolved in the next release. Hopefully, the next release will be on 05/15/22. If you still find any issues, feel free to write us back and we will keep a close watch on this.

        Hello again, the opacity sliders are still missing.  Did the update happen?  Should I reinstall the app?  What should I do?
