Sorry to hear about your difficulties. Some additional details I wondered about about the issue:

- What browser are you using? Could you test if the issue persists in different browsers?
- Does clicking into the area you're attempting to paste before doing so make any difference?

- Are you able to paste the text into TextEdit / Notepad successfully?
- Does the issue occur in incognito/private browsing mode - https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95464

Could you try these and let me know if they help?
