Performance issues on iPad, really irritating…

Just to set things straight, I'm using a 6th gen iPad Pro with full ram (16gb), so any issues can't be blamed on "get new hardware, man" issues.

So, a number of basic things just start timing out and not working. For example I copy a text object from another Express file, then paste it into a new file, and the text doesn't show on the artwork, or in the time line. But it's in the file as a layer. Various other edits also will just start not showing on the screen. I've learned that at this point I have to do the the 1990s trick of quitting the app and restarting. And eventually the performance issues start happening again. Then I have to do the early-90s trick of quitting and restarting the whole computer (iPad in this case).

I love blaming this on the big guy, Adobe, cause they have the power to fix these things. Can you make an app that can perform on the iPad please?

In the meantime, sometimes restarting the app can help clear temporary glitches. Signing out and signing back in can also reset cached data, and making sure both iPadOS and Adobe Express are up to date often resolves minor issues.
