Photo Slideshow music and slide duration

How do I add my music to a slideshow of photos? All the How To advice is about adding music to a video. I have no videos. 

How do I control how long each slide is displayed? Can I set a default duration for all slides?

    Thank you for reaching out.

     

    To add music to your photo slideshow:

    1. Click "+", choose "Video", and pick a template.
    2. Import photos.
    3. On the right, add music or choose from the library.

    For slide duration:

    1. Click the clock icon on the slide's bottom right
