Reduce clicks to return to previous project

my collaborator and I only have one project that we are working on together. but every time we open express to continue working, it has redirected us back to the home page, and then you have to click through multiple levels of UI to get back to the project workspace with files.

it'd be great if we didn't have to choose Projects and then our single Project and then Files to get back to where we left off every time.
