Question

Replace images option from Uploads

An option to replace images from uploads in Adobe Express would be helpful instead of constantly having to re-upload files. What is the purpose of the uploads folder? I know I can choose images directly from the uploads folder in "your stuff" to place in templates/layouts, but it is not the same as replace where I don't have to reformat or re-add animation every time. I work for a company that has many products (thousands). I am always repurposing templates/layouts for multiple products & ones that I have used images of in the past. I feel this option could be a necessity to help speed up my content creation & get things prepared & marketed faster.

On another note, also would love an option for Image/Graphic Shadows.

Hi @Jennifer2947164623ir

I was looking at this feature request and wondered if it was related to what you're looking for. IF

It looks like they are making some progress with the feature but it still might not be what you need. Please read through the comments on the feature request page and see if my speculation is correct. You may want to add additional comments too to let our developers know.

Thanks,
Dave

Hi Dave -

It is related but not exactly the same issue. I am seeking "Replace" from Your Stuff/Files/uploads for Placed Images. They are not Linked Assets. I guess I could try going that route with Linked Assets, but hopefully they are working on adding this feature for these types of files.

Thanks,
Jennifer
