Replacing a Background Layer

I'm working in Safari 15.1 on a Mac M1 Mini with macOS Monterey 12.0.1.

I'm trying to relpace the background layer on a project and I continually get, "Oops, something went wrong."

Here are the steps:

  1. Select the background layer
  2. In the right-hand panel, click on the "Choose Image" button
  3. In the left hand panel, click on Backgrounds -> Chromatic -> Solid
  4. Select the image I want to use

The background layer is replaced by the image I selected.  After a second or two, it errors out wth this:

Hi there,

We're sorry to hear that you've run into this issue!

Would you be able to clear cache and try again with the incognito/private mode on the browser you are using?

Thanks,
Saquib

Same for me here. I'm on ioS MAC Monterey 12.1

Backgounds 'photorealist' ---> metallic ---> stage or solid keep crashing. Then i get the error message "ooops something went wrong" Project doesn't get saved and then error message "Refresh"

This keeps happening.  You start all over --- same cycle of errors as described above.

Clearing cache and using a private window did not solve this problem for me.

Every time I try to place an image from one of my Adobe Stock libraries, I get the Oops message.

Also using Mac OS Monterey 12.1.

Please advise.

I get the same error if I start from scratch.

  1. Open a new project
  2. In the left hand panel, click on Backgrounds -> Chromatic -> Solid
  3. Select the image I want to use

I do not get this error if I work in CC Express on my iPad so I'm guessing this is a bug in the web version.
