Question

Screen shot menu

There is a quick share screen shot pop up menu. Please turn it off. Customer service should work for the customer. I didn't ask you to turn that on. If you asked permission i would know how to turn it off. But now I must waist my time and resources trying to find how to contact you in a way that doesn't even answer my issue. Why you don't have a chat for this in the app under a help menu is obviously so customers will do your job for you. Makes me sick how companies "serve" their customers these days.

Thank you for sharing the screenshot @daniel_0787

Based on the screenshot this looks like the screen which provides options for how you want to share whatever design you were creating in Express. The top line is common social media platforms, and the second line is other forms for sharing, like collaborating with others, sharing a link to the design online, or using the built-in scheduling option. The third line is common third-party cloud storage options. Did you click the option in the app to share whatever you were working on? Was there something else about this screen which was bothering you?

I press two buttons on the phone for screen shots regularly. This additional screen is not needed and is waisting my time. I want it to go away. I use ss for quick editing changes, this screen is slowing and agitating my process.

Thanks for your response

@daniel_0787

,

These are the standard sharing options in Adobe Express that appear when you choose to share your project, such as social platforms, collaboration links, scheduling, or cloud storage.

Could you let us know since when you've been seeing this screen? Were there any recent changes or installations on your device? Also, please try restarting the app and ensure your operating system is up to date.

Regards,

Tarun

Hi @daniel_0787

Sorry to hear about your difficulties. I didn't quite understand what screenshot pop-up menu you were referencing. Would it be possible share a screenshot of what you mean? I'll try to help once I can better understand.

Thanks,

Dave

Hi @daniel_0787,

I understand how frustrating this is. The quick share screenshot menu is usually a feature of your device’s operating system, not Adobe apps. To disable it, please try the following:

  • On Android, go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Advanced > Special app access > Notification access and check if any app is controlling the screenshot menu. You can disable it there.

  • Or check Settings > Gestures for screenshot-related options and turn off any quick share or screenshot pop-ups.

If you let me know your device model and OS version, I can guide you more specifically. You can also reach out to our support team here for further assistance:
