Side bar keeps disappearing making it hard to edit items

The side bar with all the main tools keeps disappearing unprompted making it hard to edit or build templates for both myself and my team. Its really slowing down workflow having to force the section you need to open up again, changing text or images.

Its been happening for a while and its effecting users across Mac and PC and different browsers. 

Wondering if this is happening for others too.
