Stopping AE from opening new window with opening a link.

Currently AE opens a new window when activating a link.  I want it to staying the current window and I just use the backwards and forwards toggle to navigate in the original window (desktop).

When you say 'activating a link,' are you referring to the options available on the Adobe Express homepage?

Could you provide a screen recording of the workflow you're describing? It will make it clear to us what you're talking about.
