Templates in projects rights in Adobe Express

Here is what I discovered today:

The problem
I created a project. Inside that project I created a number of templates for the team to use. I can only give Editor or Commenter rights to end users.
If I give them the Editor permissions, they would often choose Edit template instead of Use template. They can also delete templates. These things I want to avoid.
If I hive them Commenter permissions, they can use the templates only if they don’t upload any new asset that previously wasn’t part of the project. For example, if they replace the image in the template with the one from the brand (which is associated to the project), everything is fine. But, if they choose to upload an image from their computer (which is most common scenario), Adobe Express automatically locks the file for editing, informs the user of their Commenter permissions and opens a small comment box. Reason: the image they uploaded is an external image, and the moment it is uploaded, Adobe Express wants to save the design file at the same location where the template is. By default. That location is the location of the template, meaning inside the project. Adobe Express denies user to save anything in the project (because user has no Editor rights) and just rejects the entire design and does not save it.

The workaround
Before the user upload anything that is not part of the project (or brand associated with it), they should click on the “Untitled...” to save the design into Your stuff/Files (or anywhere under Your stuff). There, user has write permissions so the saving the file is not a problem.
The issue is that this workflow doesn’t make much sense because we normally save things after we’ve made changes.

The weak solution:
While I understand the auto-save function, it clearly fails in this case. To keep this auto-save working without failing with Commenter permissions, make the save window (naming and choosing location) pop-up automatically instead of just locking the file and promting the comment window.

The true solution:
Make more granular rights whereby you add User to the project. User can Use template, has permission to save in the project’s FIles if they want to, but can not edit the master template.

Would you be able to pass this on to the product team? Adobe Express is gaining momentum, and it would be a mistake to lose the opportunity over half-solutions.
