Text effects - can't turn them off! Under Curved, grid and magic alignments

Hi, I'm using a magic grid alignment for one text box in Adobe express. If I add another text box, it still has this effect applied - does anyone know how to turn it off please? Screenshot of the buttons I mean

    The magic grid gets automatically removed if you select one of the alignments on the left.
