Text frozen on screen during video

Please help! My students were editing text in a video and now the text they were trying to delete is frozen into EVERY scene of the video from beginning to end. Clicking on the text only opens a blank side panel and has no options except Lock/Unlock at the top (we tried that). The text does not show up as a Layer to edit or remove either, and when we add a new scene it is automatically there as if it's a new default setting. Any ideas how we can get rid of it?

Have you tried using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome) or try in incognito mode to see if it makes a difference? Also, try clearing the browser's cache and cookies to see if that helps.

Thank you. The next day the issue had resolved when I opened on a different computer.
