Tik Tok Video from Scratch?

Question

How do I create a video from scratch that is is formated for Tik Tok, Reels, etc? There's only wide and square and I need a vertical format of 1080 x 1920 with an aspect ratio of 9:16. If I only can make wide or square videos and then resize the video, it cuts off critcal content. It would be much better to create the video from scratch or from pre-made templates that works with the 1080 x 1920 format.

If Tik Tok, Facebook, etc lets you make those type of videos right from their apps, then why can't Adobe Express let us make them?? Is this something that is coming soon, impossible or am I misunderstanding something about Adobe Express's features?? Thanks!

Greetings from the Adobe Express forum.

You're right; as of now, only Widescreen & Square resize options are available within Adobe Express Video project editor and using the Resize Video quick action might cut off content.

Our team is aware of this and is working on a feature that allows users to choose preset video project sizes based on the social media platforms they'll be posted on. We'll let you know once that feature is incorporated.
