Unable to use the Generative Ai feature in Magic School

I am using Magic School AI.  I subscribed to it because it has an image generator through Adobe express.  However,  It does not work.  It says that generative AI feature is not available in my account.  I was on chat with an online assistant for more than an hour but it did not work at all.  I went through the instructions on pop up blockers but it did not work.  Anyone who can help, please?

Hey @TamiF,

 

Thank you for the additional context - typically your IT administrator would be able to raise it with their Adobe enterprise contact. I would go back to them to find out if they’re able to do that first!

Other users have also reported success in logging in by:

  • Signing into Adobe/signing up for your Adobe account (free for K-12 with their school emails: https://www.adobe.com/education/express/) directly and then navigating back to the MagicSchool.ai platform 
  • Using Google Chrome and ensuring it’s the most up-to-date version.

If you can provide a screen recording here, we can also take a look, and hopefully see what else we can do!

It is March of 2026, and we are having the same issue. Students are using Chromebooks, and teachers are using Macs. Teachers and students are not able to access the image generator in MagicSchool. The error message is attached.

Hi ​@TamiF - 

From your attached screenshot and the error message shown, it looks like you’ll need to contact your IT administrator to ensure that access to the tool is given to you (and the other teachers/students).

 

If the problem persists once you’ve gained access through your IT department, please let us know!

We did that already. IT asked me to reach out. This is a part of the MagicSchool platform and our district is not blocking or filtering. There are threads of teachers having the same issues. Adobe Express and MagicSchool need to work together to help us with this. FB post regarding MS and adobe

My students on MacBook can use the Magic School Image Generator on Chrome without a problem. However, my students on iPads cannot seem to open the tool and use it.  They tried it on Safari, Chrome and even Arc Search but no success.
