Where are clips generated by Clip Maker?

I am confused by Clip Maker. When I upload a long form video, Clip Maker says I can close Clip Maker and will be notified when clips are ready. I do not always get a notification.

Today, I got a notification for only 1 of 3 videos that I uploaded. When I clicked the notification, it opened the clips for me to review. I tried downloading the first clip and got an error message that the download failed. That kicked me out of the clips review screen. Now I cannot figure out how to navigate back to that page. Under the notification bell, there are no notifications anymore.

Checking under my stuff, I see the long form clips that I uploaded but cannot find any clips.

Where to generated clips go?

    Sorry - that's a frustrating chain of events. Let me help you hopefully get back to them.

    First, to try to recover the clips you already generated: reopen Clip Maker and look for the review/results step for that video - the download failing and dropping you out shouldn't have deleted the generated clips, so they should still be reachable from there rather than only through the notification.

    A few things would help me point you to exactly where they land, since I want to make sure I don't send you the wrong way:

    • When you reopen Clip Maker, do you see the finished clips for that video, or does it want to start over?

    • Web version or the app? If web, what browser/version are you running? If app, what OS/app version are you on?

    On the other pieces you mentioned (only getting a notification for 1 of 3 videos, and the download failing) those sound like real issues rather than something you did, so I'd like to flag them to our team. If it happens again, roughly when it failed (and the video length/size) would help them look into it.

    Reopen Clip Maker first and let me know what you see, and we'll go from there.
