Why did Adobe Express Photo auto install itself and remove my ability to screen capture video?

Part of my job requirement is to screen capture video.  I used to use PrtSc and select video record.  Now Adobe Express Photo pops up and it won't let me record video.  Why?  I didn't install it and now I don't know how to screen capture video.  What's the point of removing something I use daily for a lesser screen capture?

Hi @J2kLarsonite,

Thanks for reaching out! Adobe Express Photos is an optional free app bundled with Acrobat Reader on Windows that can become the default screenshot tool. When Express Photos is installed, it may become the default tool for handling screenshots via Print Screen keyboard shortcut.

To give you control, the first time you press Print Screen after installation, a dialog box will appear, allowing you to switch back to your previous screenshot tool if desired.

To disable it, Open Express Photos → Settings, then toggle Screenshot Shortcut off. Another option is during the screenshot session, while capturing/editing screenshot → use settings in Capture bar → disable Express Photos screenshot takeover.

Tarun
