Zoom level keeps changing when switching between pages, how to lock it?

Whenever I switch between multiple pages, the zoom level automatically resets to 20%, and I have to manually adjust it back to 100%; however, as soon as I move to another page and return, it reverts to 20% again— is there a way to lock or preserve the zoom ratio across pages?

    I think this is a current product limitation. I see some related feature requests were created around this here:
