800+ old Substance Material Points forever gone????

OK so after 1 year I needed to texture something again and seems like the old subtance material libary is gone for good and also all of my 800 material points. I had a Indie subscription and also a Steam perpetual licence from an older version.

 

Just to get this straight as far as I read some threads all my old 800+ Substance material points are now gone and I can't use them with the adobe assets right? So once again Adobe totally [Profanity removed by moderator] me over, right?

 

Just want to confirm this because as soon as Adobe bought Substance I know we are all screwed and I guess I should go back to MARI :S  [Removed by moderator], can't remeber the last time when I was so pissed I guess another Adobe genius strike.

    Last September the older Substance/Allegorithmic accounts disappeared to be replaced by Adobe accounts as they were more future-proof. 
    Before this there were emails since february 2022 I think to let users know, as it was possible to transfer points from an old account to an Adobe one under some conditions.

    Can you please write to contact@substance3d.com ? They will let you know what is possible to do!

      In the end they made an exception for my case and transfered me 600 points to my adobe account, why 600 and not 800? because I made a stupid spelling mistake in my email but maybe they will fix that too hopefully.

      On top of that I also owned over 150 materials in the old substance libary which of course are also gone.

       

      But overall it is a good reminder that nothing lasts forever and it is defintive not worth collecting the points. rather spend them download them and store them on your own hard disk as silly as it sounds.
