Any improvements in resource management in Substance Designer?

I wonder do we got anything new in this regrad?   Any improvement?

SD is most crazy  thing in this respect.  No other 3d or 2d soft ever  so cranky and weird with distributed resources .  Never had a single issue in 3d max for example or Blender.      You give a new root folder you think resources may be stored inside and they find evrything on their own automatically.     In SD  you always pray  it would be working.

Today  for example, it asked me for missing  sbs that clearly  in the  same folder .    If I need to send a sbs someone  it collects GBs in huge archives full of senseless junk.      Will it ever changes?     I tried alieses,  special hard drive dedicated to all SD related things   I wouldn't even dare to breath on.    Nevertheless in few months it all turns into Gordian knot nobody  could ever untie.

Hi @kirkr5689,

Thanks for the question.

We know the resource management is tedious to use in Substance 3D Designer and making some changes in this regard is clearly in our roadmap, but currently we don't have any plan or ETA to share.

Best regards,
