Blend node Opacity problem?

Having a problem with the Blend node getting transparency even though Opacity is specified. Used Min (Darken).

If you want the individual 'leaves' to overlap with no transparency, you could  convert to colour using a gradient map and add an alpha channel based on the shape. Then use Alpha Blend in a Splatter Circular Color node. You can convert back to grayscale, if you need to, to continue your graph.
