Can't make while loop node do anything beyond that simple "10" example.

I tried to recreate  the blur  from this tutorial https://youtu.be/Ggoy8G90oDI?t=300

And see nothing.   Could somebody show me what I did wrong  in attached sbs

 

Can I do something like slope blur with it?  I think I understand the concept of loop  but  nothing I tried  really working .

There are three errors in your graph

1. You have a GetFloat in the middle which feeds a 'Greater than or Equal' node to test for i value, set to get 'aa' - this should be set to get 'kernel_size'

2. and 3. Both While Loops have their maximum iterations set to 32. They need to be at least 128 each so that the loop can reach the kernel_size of 128

 

Now that you have that working you can adjust your function to sample how you want it to work
