In Substance Designer is it possible to create this type of parametric patterns for architecture that can be exported to CAD or Illustrator?

Thank you for the question.

I'd even say that Designer is made for this kind of parametric patterns, but that will also depend on the end goal.

As you can see, with a very few nodes, I was able to build something similar to what you're looking for (the graph is attached to this message), so I'm convinced that with a bit more time, you'll have the desired result.

Regarding the compatibility with other software, you can export your work in a lot of formats and even .PSD. So no doubt you'll be able to work it out for Illustrator.
