Hi, I have Substance 3D Painter 2023 on steam and I'm wondering if its compatible with Substance 3D Designer 2024?
Will I run into issues using materials created in Designer 2024 in Painter 2023?
I don't want to pay €200 to find out the hard way and there doesn't seem to be a way to purchase Substance 3D Designer 2023 any more.

It depends which specific version you have. Substance Designer (currently v13.1.2) uses the 9.0.3 3D engine
That engine version appeared in Substance Painter in November 2023 in v9.1.0
