  • Big issues, while trying to bake a 10x10 poly plane from Maya into Substance Deisnger.

I know this a bit much for a Substance software, handleling 100 poly is hard.

So I've imported a poly plane, that was conformed to my high poly, a wall (almost flat).

But inside Designer, the window "Bake model information" do not show up, and no error message in the console nor the logs.

The "proffesionnal" contact / support, do not "work" on the week-ends. So I try to find a response on this forum.
But I'm not a big fan of this methode, because the community will do Adobe's job, for a software the user are paying for...

I do not load the high poly, I prefer using the "file" option inside the baker. Way faster to load with heavy HP.

Yes my low is loading perfectly, but it is a simple low poly plane.

I've figured it out, so for I've seen, this isn't a bug, but more a preference mismatch after the last update.

I've just tested here with the latest version of Designer  v13.0.1 and Baker version 2.5.7 with no issues at all which discounts an update breaking the software.

Do both high and low poly models show in the 3D view if you drag them in from the resources folder? That is just to check that the objects are being loaded correctly.

Does going into Preferences , Bakers and temporarily unchecking Enable GPU raytracing then clicking Apply, make a difference?

Quick update, I don't know why,
But all my previous scene aren't working anymore.

All previously baking scene do not work.

So I guess that Adobe or Substance have push an update and broke their software....
