Exporting substance height map to Unreal Engine 5

Hello, I've got a question. It's partially related to other software but I think it's important to ask about.

While creating height map and exporting it to Unreal Engine 5, I discovered tesselation density doesn't match the one I was making map while looking at SD 3D viewport. How can I adjust it properly?

Hello @Golem_XIV255017952em4,

I am unfortunately not an Unreal Engine expert, but from what I know, the tesselation option has been removed from UE5. This is probably why your result doesn't look the same between the two software.

But in genereal, the tessellation simply subdivides your mesh for a more defined use of the height map. I'd advise to increase the tessellation value in your rendering software until you get a clean result, but keep in mind this can cost on the performance side.

Have a nice day.
