Hello everyone, what GPU Nvidia card would you recommend for Adobe 3d Substance collection as to all of those 4 new applications, optimal use. I did check https://substance3d.adobe.com/documentation/spdoc/technical-requirements-172824034.html but it is not answering my question fully. Maybe you can list a couple of GPUs that will be released next year or couple of words if there a reason to get 3070/80/ti's

thanks

Hello,

Hardware recommendations necessarily necessarily include parameters such as budget and overall system configuration - power supply in particular. The motherboard also plays a part with support for PCI Gen4 being recommended for the most recent GPUs.

An Nvidia RTX GPU would indeed fully leverage the raytracing capabilities of our bakers in Designer/Painter and our Mercury rendering engine in Stager. The Ampere architecture found in the Geforce RTX 3xxx and Quadro RTX Axxxx series offers an improved implementation of raytracing cores as well as faster memory.

The RTX 3060 would be a well balanced choice, while the RTX 3070 is an all-rounded powerhouse. The price increase to the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 are harder to justify for a general user, and their benefits greatly depend on your use case and overall system configuration.

Back to budget, the ongoing chip shortage still pushes the prices of GPUs to double or triple MSRP in many cases, and it is hard to recommend any GPU at this time if there is no urgency commanding the purchase.

I am unable to recommend hardware which is yet to be released since for system compatibility, power consumptions and budget reasons.

Best regards.

Thanks for the reply)) I am looking forward to purchase AMD 3950x and X570 for a motherboard. So I guess I mostly wonder about upcoming RTX 3050 or/and 3050Ti from NVIDIA. I got to check specs for those, buttling between 3060 and new 3050ti. I would like to know what other people with prior experinces thinking about that, of cause 3070 just sounds greate, from where I from it's triple a price and I am waiting on next two month for 3050 prices info, releses etc.

What I understand from what you are saying is that, all of this suffering is worthless and it's just more resanable to face our faith, buy card for triple a price and enjoy mercury and maybe build a 3d house instead of a real one))
