I can't edit the SVG resource I created after relaoding

I don't know if this is user error or a bug but when I reload a file that has an SVG resource I created I can no longer edit the SVG. I can still create/move control points/shapes but the actual pixels themselves are no longer dynamic. (Windows 10/GTX 1070/Tried this on both renderers)

For example I can create this box or move the control points of existing shapes but no pixels are created or updated.
