Number of parameters seems to be limitated for .sbsar files

Hello everyone,
I tried to create a material in Substance Designer for used it in Substance Painter, with a lot of exposed parameters. In the preview interface of Designer everything is ok, but in Painter some parameters are missing, specially the recent exposed parameters.
Is it possible that it's come from the abusive number of exposed parameters in my material ?

Regards,
Lucille

    Correct answer Cyril Dellenbach

Update: I added new parameters to my .sbsar and Painter displayed them. So maybe it's not because a limitation after all. That's strange, it's like Painter doesn't detect these settings because it's not link to the Substance graph (which it isn't).

    Hello @Lucille28401655ozby,

Thanks for the question. I'm not aware of a parameters' number limitation, but if certain of your parameters are not linked to the graph, they won't be shown in the .SBSAR file.

When the graph is cooked, every unused parameters will be removed, therefore all the parameters that are not linked to a node won't be in the final .SBSAR.

    Best regards,

    Hi

I've never hit a limit on the number of exposed parameters, although there may be one. There are however certain paramaters, known as static parameters, that you can appear to expose in the SBS graph but which are not editable once the graph is published and therefore will be hidden in a published SBSAR.

The link below gives more info (scroll down to 'limitations') :

Is it possible that your new parameters fell into one of those static types?

Hi Dave, thank you for your answer.
I don't have statics parameters, and moreover these parameters works well on a another .sbsar wich use less parameters. This is why I think first of a number limitation of parameters.

I'll tag Adobe's @Cyril Dellenbach to see if he knows of such a limitation.
