Question

optimizing graphics

Hello

In Blender, it's possible to optimize material graphics by grouping them so that when a change is made to the graphic, the entire graphic doesn't have to be processed.

Is there a similar feature in SD 15? Is there a tutorial?

Thanks

Hello,

Designer will try to only recompute the parts of a graph that are impacted by a change. (A notable exception are nodes using values, because of how they are implemented)

What do you mean by 'grouping'? This would help me provide a more precise answer.

Also, you may be interested in taking a look at our performance optimisation guidelines, which include a few good tips for optimising Substance graphs.

Best regards.

In Blender, if you group some material nodes, those nodes won't be recalculated when editing the parameters in the material tree for those not in the group.

Is there something similar in SD 15?
