Resolution Questions

hello

How can I know the maximum resolution I can use in Substance Designer in relation to my computer? Do you have any calculations?

regarding triangulation:
When we open a mesh in Substance Designer, triangulation occurs.
How can I speed up this process?
Can I do something in the modeling in Blender to speed up this step?

thank you very much

I've not seen anything directly relating to resolution, only the system recommendations here:

I use an RTX3090 have not run into any issues using it with 8K resolutions

On the triangulation, again I have not run into any issues, but if you are having problems then you could try triangulating before export from Blender, or even on export. For example in Blender's Export to fbx dialogue there is a 'Triangulate Faces' option in 'Geometry' options

Hello

Is there a way to change the resolution of all nodes, of a material I created, at once? from 4k to 8k?

thanks

Yes, that is one of the strengths of Substance Designer. The material can be published and the resolution changed in the application it is being used e.g. Painter.

While working on your graph, if you have set your  nodes to take their resolution from the parent graph size (i.e. relative to parent) then just switch the parent graph resolution. If they are following an input node then you may need to set that size.
