Question

Sbsrenderer locked to rendering 256x256 resolution

Hi. I wrote a simple script for sbsrender "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Substance 3D Designer\sbsrender.exe" render ^ --input "F:\SD_Test.sbsar" ^ --output-path "F:\TestPath" ^ --set-value "$outputsize@11,11" ^ --output-format png And it outputs 256x256 textures even though the output nodes are 2048. I tried everything. Is it possible it's locked to 256 without the enterprise license?

Hi Damian,

Don't worry, we don't lock anything for non-enterprise licenses. It's probably because you have a bitmap in your graph not properly setup.

In fact, we have a page dedicated to this specific problem in the Technical issues section of our documentation. Make sure all your bitmaps Output size are set up to Absolute. This should avoid to spread a lower resolution when Publishing your graph as .SBSAR

Let me know if it helps.

Hi Ciril,
Thank you for your reply. That's what I did eventually, setting everything as absolute. But I am still not able to change the resolution after doing so using the script I posted.

Thank you,

Damian
