Tile sampler mask input

This is probably something very simple but why isn't my mask working if I connect the safe transform where I just tiled my shape? Thanks

Hello,

 

By default, the patterns are only masked if the mask  impacts the center of the pattern. The tiled version of the mask must traverse the image in a way that pattern centers are never impacted.

 

You may try switching the Tile Sampler's 'Mask Map Sampling Technique' parameter to 'Pattern Bounding Box (slower)'.
