Question

Recorded streams not time synced and overlaid on top of each other

We just recorded an hour long session with 3 very costly lawyers as guests on a podcast episode.

Once we stopped recording and went to look at the transcription we saw that that somehow the audio streams have been shifted and the transcription shows various speakers speaking on top of each other.

Unfortunately, so does the audio...is there a way to isolate each channel and correctly re-align the recordings and then transcribe again?

I'm not sure we can get everyone back on in time for a complete redo. This is the most ridiculous glitch I've seen yet on this platform...

There are definitely issues with Adobe Podcasts at the moment, BIG issues that need to be addressed.

I recorded a test podcast with my colleagues recently, and thank goodness it was only a test.

We recorded four of us at once (me as the host, my three colleagues invited as guests) Our podcast did actually record, so it's not quite as bad as your situation, but two weeks later I am still unable to download the individual recordings (individual recordings for each participant).

The Adobe team themselves seem baffled, here's the latest reply to my customer service message:
"Thank you for being so patient. Unfortunately, our engineers were unable to retrieve the separate files. They are investigating why this happened, so it can be prevented in the future. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience. Please let me know if this happens again, and I'll be happy to help."

I was planning to use adobe Podcast studio in the future for podcast recording, however, if it's going to be this unreliable, and this inexplicable (even by the team who made it) I'll have to look to alternatives.

I do of course thank the team for replying and attempting to help me out, but it's not a great look at the moment!

Fingers crossed they can get these bugs get crushed quickly.
