Separate two speakers on podcast

i was sent a podcast recording and they insist that they are on seperate channels however, they are both in the same track.  So, is there a way to remove the much louder speaker so I can hear the second one?  I can then put both tracks into my software and level them out.  Thanks.

Did the person who sent you the file record the session in Adobe Podcast? If so, they might have exported a mono audio file using "Export > Audio" which combined both speakers. Instruct them to use "Export > Original recordings" instead and you'll receive two separate wav files -- one for each speaker. But I think "Original recordings" is only available for Premium members.

But again, this only applies if they recorded with Adobe Podcast. If they used other software to record like Audacity or Audition, perhaps they can export individual tracks of each speaker instead.

Not possible in this product. Audition might be a better option to explore.
